It features an openwork dial that proudly showcases its high performance movement, as well as two differently coloured counters displaying the minutes and seconds, which call back to the colour schemes used by the different rally races. The timepiece is housed in a sporty titanium and carbon case and paired with a black or red rubber strap. Powered by the El Primero 9004 movement, featuring two independent high-frequency escapements – one beating at 5Hz for timekeeping and the other at an incredible 50Hz to offer a true 1/100th of a second chronograph function – and provides a power reserve of 50 hours.
The DEFY Extreme Carbon 1/100th of a second high-frequency automatic chronograph is crafted in light yet durable carbon fibre and titanium. The tinted sapphire dial takes on the colours of EXTREME E electric rally races, revealing the El Primero 21 automatic movement with two escapements beating at 50Hz and 5Hz.
