LVMH Watch Week did not disappoint when it comes to the TAG Heuer 2023 releases, with our favourite timepieces coming from the Aquaracer, Carrera and Monza lines.
TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph 60th Anniversary Edition
As 2023 celebrates the 60th anniversary of the TAG Heuer Carrera, what better way to pay tribute to the milestone than with a new re-edition of the most popular vintage Carreras produced in the late 1960s. Created with a limited series of 600 pieces, this 39mm timepiece is crafted in stainless steel has a stunning panda chronograph dial featuring the vintage TAG Heuer logo and is driven by the in-house calibre Heuer 02 movement. Over time this watch has become a genre defining chronograph and this 60th Anniversary edition isn’t an exception.

Known for harnessing the sun, this timepiece allows the movement to recharge itself. This week it was launched in two new versions, Carbon or Titanium. These durable timepieces also feature luminescent hands and markers, ensuring that this timepiece can reliably follow you into the wilderness and to the ends of the earth.

TAG Heuer Monza Flyback Chronometer Special Edition
This year TAG Heuer has reinterpreted its sporty classic, the Monza and it is back in a big, skeletonized way! The Monza Flyback Chronometer special edition is made of ultra-lightweight and resistant carbon and arrives in a 42mm case. With a striking black open worked dial with red and blue highlights and a textile strap this is only were the statements start. The movement is the next statement: the Monza uses TAG Heuer’s in-house Heuer 02 COSC Flyback Calibre. It is clear, this model is definitely back and far more modern and bolder than ever!

Zenith DEFY Skyline Skeleton
Introducing the DEFY Skyline Skeleton, a new expression of a modern skeleton watch. Housed within a 41mm steel case, the symmetrical skeleton dial takes on the form of a four-pointed star, in a nod to the ZENITH “double Z” logo of the 1960s. Using different finishes matte, satin-brushed and polished surfaces the two dial colour variations of black and blue are further intensified, and the depth of the movement is accentuated. Visible from the front as well as the back is the open worked version of the high-frequency automatic El Primero calibre, the 3620 SK. This automatic manufacture movement drives the 1/10th of a second hand directly from the escapement, which beats at 5Hz (36’000 VpH), thus making it a “natural” fraction-of-a-second indication. This addition brings a new dimension to the DEFY collection and reimagines the possibilities of skeleton watches in form as well as function.

Zenith DEFY Skyline 36mm
New size, new colours, same striking timepiece. The DEFY Skyline is now available in a 36mm version. This mid-sized DEFY Skyline comes in three dial colours. The first a metallic deep blue which can also be found in the 41mm version, while the other two dial colours take on totally new tones – pastel. These pastel tones, pink or green, also have a metallic base that is polished then satin-brushed, they also have perfectly integrated date wheels, which are colour matched to the dials. Available with or without brilliant-cut white diamonds on the bezel, the mid-size DEFY Skyline retains its stellar brilliance in its new proportions.
