It features a black domed dial with luminescent hour markers and snowflake hands, housed in a stainless steel case with a screw-down crown. This timepiece is fitted on a brown leather strap with folding clasp and safety catch, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit on the wrist. In addition to 200 meters of water resistance, this model is powered by the COSC-certified manufacture MT5652 Calibre offering up to 70 hours power reserve.
Enhancing the Black Bay with yellow gold creates a version named S&G, for Steel & Gold. Tudor derived the characteristic aesthetic elements of the Black Bay S&G model from its history. The overall shape, as well as the domed dial and crystal, come from the first Tudor divers’ watches.
